Currently based in Roanoke, I’ve spent years of my educational, and independent career honing my skills as a 2D artist. As a kid, I loved comics and sci-fi RPGs, so gradually, I’ve turned into the adult who buys every comic and “Art Of” book he can find, slowly stocking my bookshelf with books that will take me forever to read.

I work to continuously produce art that not only feels cinematic, but also provides a rich sense of nuance. Alternative and afro-centric sentiments are a constant theme in my work, and I will continue to develop work that enriches those identities. My biggest inspirations are creators like Christopher Priest, Alberto Mialgo, Fiona Staples and Ashley Wood.

"There are countless ingredients that make up the human mind and body. A face and voice to distinguish oneself from others, the hand you see when you wake up, your childhood memories and feelings about your future… but that’s not all. There’s also the ability to access vast amounts of information from an infinite network. All of that blends to create a mixture that forms me, and gives rise to my conscience. At the same time, I feel continually confined within boundaries.”

- Motoko Kusanagi, Ghost In The Shell (1995)
